Generation BMX

by emon hassan on July 11, 2017

Been a while since I blogged. A month ago, I launched the Generation BMX website even though I’m about another couple of years or so from being done with the project. It’s easier to show people what I’m aiming for with the documentary than talk about it. I built GenBMX on Squarespace and it’s inspired me to move a lot of my existing WordPress sites to that platform. Guitarkadia, actually, is slowly making its move here.

Below are a small section of screen shots from the site. Check it out!

A photo I’d shot over a year ago on iPhone was published recently. I happened to be there to record audio for this Narratively story when I noticed a lot of activity around the Pier. Shot a few frames and contacted my editor at the WSJ. WSJ ended up using another photographer’s shot.
